Steve and Me

Steve is Brittany's step dad and the father of her little sister, Baylee. They remained close throughout the years. At least once a week, they would go to Souplantation after Baylee's gymnastics classes.

Hi Britt

I hope you are doing well where you are at now. I hear heaven is a beautiful place to be.........I just wish I could know how you are feeling and what you are doing. I miss you so much! It's so hard to get through the days and nights thinking about you and ALL the life you had to live for.

The relationship you and I shared together was so special. You were always so much more than a Step Daughter to me. You were like a Best Friend. You would always be laughing and joking with me and Baylee and the time would go by so fast.

Baylee would always tell me that you were the "BEST SISSY". You loved so much that one night a week when we would go out to Souplantation and you could have ALL THE CHEESE YOU WANTED! Seems like we would always run into some of your friends there too.

Your spirit will live on forever in in my heart..

Hey Britt..............

There is something special I wanted to share with you that your little sister Baylee showed me last night. She has a drawer in her dresser where she is keeping all kinds of art work, a diary and a beautiful shirt of yours that she has decorated with lots of bright shining stars and hearts. That was so touching to me, seeing this from your 6 year old sister. She loved you so much and I know that the feeling was mutual towards her. You were such a great teacher to her.

I know you will be looking over Baylee and the rest of your family and friends and help us get through these tough times. I can just see your Bright smiling face shining down on us now..

You've got to be the most BEAUTIFUL angel in heaven!

~ Dear Brittany ~

There are no words that can describe the way I feel inside since your passing two weeks ago today. I feel so much sorrow and there is such an empty feeling in my heart that can never be replaced. I am sure this is a feeling that is shared by all your family and friends, which you had so many of. You were truly loved by everybody who ever met you.

You were succcch a BEAUTIFUL young lady, so SWEET and always CARING and COMPASSIONATE of others. I will never forget your bright smiling face and bubbly personality that would always lighten up my day. You have touched the lives of so many people and brought them closer together.

I know we will be together again someday, but until then I know you will be looking over and caring for your family and those who loved you.
