I remembered this poem and wanted to share it. It may be a repeat but its worth reading again

A Child Loaned

as of now it is 2:25pm - one month, 11 hours and 35 minutes since you left us...


...i felt you last week--i was in my room thinking of you, and crying...ALL MY WINDOWS AND DOORS WERE CLOSED...and a huge gust of wind went past me.. it was wonderful comforting i guess you could say

my bad dreams continue...with some parts good

i just miss you terribly.


i'm trying to figure out a way to get over to RB to pick up one of your pick bracelets they're selling...but until then, i wear my silver link charm bracelet and i have STAR spelt out on it.

i love you hunnie...so much - i think about you every day

Since returning from California this web-site has been up on our computer everyday! We find comfort in reading what others have written about Brittany. I have sat here many times wanting to write....but I could never think of "the right things to say". I felt like I had to write today letting you all know we are thinking about you and praying for you!! There has not been one day since April 24th that Brittany has not been in our conversations and prayers.

We all wish we could be there tonight for you. I am finding comfort in knowing how many people are supporting you Star and surrounding you with their love! After attending the vigil at the accident scene, the funeral and the celebration luncheon I was touched by the genuine compassion and love from everyone. It was a beautiful celebration of BRITTANY STAR CURCIO!

This web-site has been a great way to share wonderful memories of her. THANK YOU SO MUCH CHRISTINE!! YOU ARE DOING A BRILLIANT JOB AT MAINTAINING THIS-IT IS MUCH APPRECIATED!!

Brittany has touched many lives! The pictures show what a wonderful life she had here on earth. Her life was so special because of everyone that loved her. Especially you Star---you made Brittany Star the great person she was and will forever be in our minds and hearts!! The life you made for her is the reason why she was a special daughter-sister-friend to so many. Her life was so full of experiences you were able to provide for her.

Star, Tony, Steve and Greg I hope those special memories of Brittany are filling your hearts and easing your pain. She would want you all to find happiness again and once again smiling a bright smile for her!

To all of Brittany's friends--you are all remarkable--the love and support you have given to Brittany's family is a way to keep her spirit alive! By you being there for her family and helping them cope with this, especially Baylee, Gia and Cameron, speaks volumes! Each of you should be so proud of yourselves! You have handled this situation with much class and grace. I felt blessed to be apart of the vigil you had on the Friday after the accident. Sharing all of your memories that night helped us! We laughed and cried with you! May our special Angel keep each of you under her wing!

I just wanted to let you know how special you are to keep the web page going, not only for friends, but mostly for the family.

I'm on this web page daily and always have the music playing in my office at home ... just hearing the song over and over. We only met Brittany a few times ... mostly at Souplantation with Steve. We are all touch by Brittany. THANK YOU!!!!!!

Brittany,

It's hard to believe that its been a month since you left us. It still seems so unreal.

So many lives have been touched by your passing - even of those who never knew you. Your energy, spirit, charisma, intensely blue eyes and beautiful smile are embedded in all of our hearts and memories forever.

In your Dad's most recent note to you, he said he is sure you ran up those stairs that morning the Lord called you home. It conjures such a beautiful image of you, Brittany...and brings such peace and warmth to my heart. Hopefully it did the same for others as well.

Fly high Brittany and guide us all as we all continue our life's work here on earth. We look forward to seeing you again someday. Until then...we will all work together to keep your memory alive and help your family cope through all the challenges that lie ahead.

Good Morning Angel,

I wanted to tell you that I went to Baylee's birthday party on Sat. She made a game that we called "The Brittany Game". Guess she wanted you to be there any way you could.

Throughout the party balloons kept popping. I am convinced that was you saying Happy Birthday to Baylee!! Some of your friends were there and that really meant a lot to your mom! They helped with the games just as I was told by your mom that you would have done. Your mom really missed having you there but I want you to know that I am going to try my hardest to help her in any way I can.
